Aston Martin DB4GT
The Vehicle:
The 1961 Aston Martin DB4GT was a unique project. Our customer had all the parts needed to build a DB4GT but was missing one crucial element—the chassis.
The Vision:
The goal was to bring this DB4GT to life by creating a completely new chassis and building the car from the ground up, ultimately upgrading the engine for modern racing performance.
The Hurdles:
The challenge was to fabricate an entirely new chassis for a car that already had many parts, but no foundation to build on. It was a complex task, but one that we were excited to take on.
The Process:
After carefully creating the new chassis, we fitted the superleggera and aluminium panels. We then fabricated custom doors, a bonnet, and a boot to complete the body. The engine was upgraded in-house to a 4-litre racing Aston engine, ensuring it was ready for the track.
The Result:
The DB4GT was completed and has been racing regularly ever since. Five years later, it continues to perform strongly, a testament to the quality of the build and the dedication that went into it.
